7. Teneder Mercies -1983 Robert DuVall
Could not find the kitchen scene with DuVall strumming a Grestsch Rancher at the table. But here is the "Country Blues Band" scene. FWIW I own an exact copy of that Rogers drumset.

There is a scene where one of the main characters is sitting on the hood of a car outside of a burning city. He's singing Eve of Destruction. Brilliant.
