Monday's Movie Pick... Path to War starring Michale Gambon and Alec Baldwin (2002). An insider look at the discussions, justifications, conflicts and dialogs that took place in the White House regarding American involvment in Vietnam. Gambon is spot-on as LBJ-- the flamboyant, Texas-sized cursing, and Baldwin does a wonderfully minimalist job as McNamara-- in fact, the scenes in which Baldwin takes McNamara's journey from "hawk" to "oopsie" is almost poignant.

An interesting case study in how a country can go from A to Z without knowing it had even passed B yet.
