Anyone know a good way to get the taste of gasoline out of your mouth?
(I can't wait for the copycats on this one... )

I was siphoning a little gas out of my scooter to put in the lawnmower. First time I'd tried doing it and I figured out pretty quick why a clear tube might prove a superior conduit to a black one.
Two hours later I can still taste it. BlegcthBlegcthBlegcth.x(

1. Gargle with some milk?
and spit it out, repeat

At least I would think so, since gas is fat-soluble and so should stick with the milk as you spit it out.

4. If it's fat soluble my brains should have dispersed it by now.

8. Honestly, I think I'd prefer the taste of 93 octane to Everclear.

11. Beer always worked for me
:D

a little siphoning trick my dad showed me when I was a teenager. Put the hose in, then take a rag and stuff it in around the hose. Instead of sucking, blow on the hose until you build up pressure in the tank and it will come right on out and you'll never get any in your mouth ;)

I swallowed a bit, years ago - yeccchhh! Orange soda helped, kind of. I was looking for a pic of the magic siphon, which simply has a crude check valve (with a marble inside!) at one end - but they seem to only be sporadically available.
The squeeze bulb style looks good , tho - and $3.99 on sale!

14. Evaporation, atomization, natural microbes, chemical dispersants...
About three fourths of the taste will be gone in no time.

Eat bread, chew it a long time, wash it down with something with a strong flavor, like Coke.
