What's your favorite line from "The Birdcage" ?

Mine: The important thing to remember is not to go to pieces when that happens. You have to react like a man, calmly. You have to say to yourself, "Albert, you pierced the toast, so what? It's not the end of your life."

1. Gene Hackman in drag
"I don't want anyone to see me not dancing!"

Forget the character's name.

2. "Does this dress make me look fat?"
Another great line by the Hackman character (last line in the movie).

5. Which version? I say which version? The original or french version
was the one I favored.
I've seen bits of the Robin Williams one on tv. I don't like it.
What I liked about the french (?) version, was the set, or house.
The nightclub was on one side of the block, and out to the back, the other side of the block, was the house. I believe there was a walk thru' and he could walk to work without even going outside.
I have to envy a commute like that.

10. That's what I liked about the french version, if it is french. It was
something different. Something more exotic.

8. "No, I just never realized John Wayne walked like that..." is one I love.
But pretty much every line in the movie is perfect. Very well written, and excellently acted.

My Guatemalan-ness, my natural heat. You're afraid I'm too primitive to be on the stage with your little estrogen rockettes, right?

15. I also love the line when they introduce Hank azaria's character to Hackman's family
I can't remember what they call him, though - but Spartacus comes into play, if memory serves.
