I need shopping help
So I need to get a dress for my friend's wedding.

I have a fat butt and really ugly arms, so I need something in a plus size with sleeves, but everything that I can find that fits those criteria looks hideously matronly.

I hate my life right now. x(

3. I could see you in this.
You have beautiful hair and eyes. I'd suggest the cobalt blue.

10. I'm a fan of TLC's "What Not to Wear" and I've seen a lot of shows
where the most flattering dress style they recommend has these details:

--V-neck

--fitted between the bust and waist to emphasize figure

--skirt flows away from the hips--but keep the bodice fitted (not pleated or gathered)

--just above the knee length gives you longer leg line which makes you seem taller.

Good luck shopping. You can find something you'll love and feel good wearing. Enjoy the wedding!

:hi:

I've had very good luck with everything I've ordered here. I've sent everything I've ordered from Roaman's back. Roaman's uses skinny models to make their clothes look good, but then I get them and they're cheaply made and look ridiculous.

Go with an empire waist to draw attention away from the features you do not like:

This has sleeves, an empire waist and a nice style for you shape. Looks really nice in black:

Also check for a post several months back by Haole Girl. We went through this same process, looking at different sites, for a wedding she was attending in India and she found a very lovely dress.

This one is very nice:

13. If you go to a thai or malaysian or indian store sometimes they have summer dresses in plus sizes
that are really cool. You know what I mean...batik and indian died cotton type dresses.... one of those import type stores.
