Ok so answer me this: What is the worst lie a family member has told about U?

And yes I have had quite a few told to me about me, told to others about me. Nothing quite like a screwed up family of origin. Please share if you feel U can. I need some comparisons for some shit I've seen and heard.

1. Many, many years ago, my brother

told my father I was smuggling drugs into Spain. I have no idea where he came up with that. I went there on vacation.

9. Oh the usual projections..I'm crazy, mentally ill, evil, mean, a family heretic.

At one time I was accused of having called one of them following the death of a family member to say that I was glad the kid was dead. You know, friendly stuff like that. :)

Its really nothing new. I was trying to think of some one thing that I had enjoyed with these siblings and I couldn't think of anything. So I just started wondering what lies others have endured.

10. Same here. But as we age I think they are running out of ideas. Hopefully anyway.

12. Oh, it was almost the contrary here. They became more imaginative

as the years rolled on. But the other thing was, the lies from 40 and 50 years ago? Are now so set in concrete, and been repeated over and over so many times over the years, are accepted by oh so many as gospel truth.
But that's part of the problem too. They like to take it on faith alone, no facts needed.
Fortunately, in a sense it's all over now. As the 'ringleader' recently died. No one told me, but I found out. Which in a sense helped, as I was waiting as to what preposterous allegation would come up next.

14. When the remaining *parent* finally kicks the bucket I expect something will happen.

They'll all sing the dysfunctional version of Kumbaya together, swear their undying love for one another, get drunk and then begin the family version of the 'airing of the(childhood)grievances'. Followed by the usual tearjerk neo-therapeutic session whereupon the eldest sibling will prevail for everyone to return to their scripted roles in the coven.

After that, they'll start on me but since I won't be there, the satisfaction they crave will be lacking. So then they'll fight about politics or a social issue, get nowhere and the party will break up.

Every few years they'll have some meet at the gravesite deal which about half will go to. Next a high Catholic mass it will entail deep drama, religion and repentance.

Should be fun. :)

8. my brother can't open his mouth without lying

he recently accused my sister and me of only being parrots of our mom. Which is totally ridiculous, mom and I disagree on many, many things. But according to my brother, it's all part of the ongoing conspiracy to ruin his life that began when he was born. These things don't sound like much when I write them down, but they are unfair and untrue and it galls me to no end that my brother tells people these things and people believe him.

13. That is a doctrine.

Some believe some people are cursed, or some houses are cursed. And others are blessed. And the cursed are taught to give everything to the blessed houses.


Some think if your life is difficult it is because it is suppose to be to cut off a person.



Note I have seen relatives have great lives, then when targeted by curses coming from people by free will choices, go through different situations to change their behavior into what the cursers wanted, or have difficult things happen till they do. I actually watched it happen to my brother, and some of the same 'plays' were ran on me, but they are easy to defeat.


Those are free will actions, to take free will from someone else, an attempt at a form of slavery.
