1. You can't jump on the subway with a deep dish slice
without being laughed at.

3. How come Chicago thin crust
is never a choice in these polls?

4. Good question!
That's my favorite, too. The deep-dish is a bit much for me. I prefer that nice, crisp and bubbly thin crust.

5. YES!
If it's pizza, I'll eat it!

I have to admit, coming from NJ, I lean towards a thin, foldable crust, but I'm not going to turn down a deep dish pie, or a specialty, "hoity toity" designer pizza.

6. Deep dish rules. I just love bread, so this makes thick crust
the only choice. I cannot stand a pizza that falls down when I pick it up, and folding a piece of pizza seems too strange to me. I suppose it is what you have been raised with---I never even knew you were supposed to fold pizza, so thin was just too hard to eat.

8. Noo Yawk!
better still, New Haven and environs, where it is known as "apizza" (pronounced "abeetz").

And having been in the Bay Area for the past year now, I have yet to encounter a gluten-free organic pie, though I did once have a slice of arugula.

15. This nutmegger salutes you on your impeccable taste.
New York is a poor facsimile of the genuine article, Chicago shouldn't even be called pizza though. It's a loaf of bread with poorly-spiced marinara on top.

14. That photo looks more like ...
... Chicago style "stuffed" pizza than "deep dish".
