I've got to say I am getting very tired of hanging out with such scoundrels and hooligans
A year and a half in Beijing. And, though I love being around people who are rough around the edges (Cause the one thing they often seem to be is honest and loyal), I really am growing bored with the drunken, drug using whore house frequenting crowd. Don't be alarmed, I've never paid for it and won't, but many I know love to kick it in brothels here. The banter is always funny and many of them would be considered fucking nuts back home, in fact I'm in another city for work and 20 of them happen to be here for the beer fest. I wouldn't tell any of them what hotel I'm in lest they show up and start doing inappropriate things.

Last night was a good example. We were in a bar, and one guy I know was talking to a girl. She turned her back, and when she turned back around his pants were around his ankles and he acted like there was nothing going on. Now, bear in mind he just did it for a joke, but that's likely one of the least offensive things I've seen.

They are a laugh, but after this much time in a place with bars open 24 hours and really cheap booze and drugs, I think I'm really ready to spend my saturday nights at a nice dinner then a quiet drink and into bed. Then wake up early the next day for breakfast and a long walk followed by chores and reading. Maybe I just need a break.

I never thought the crazy in me would ever get spent.

That said, I've got a lot of funny fucking stories now.

1. I know what you mean
I've spent most my life around bar band musicians, bikers and various assorted rednecks and other cut-ups . It's fun and the stories are endless, but it does get old after while.

5. It's funny, that though has actually passed my mind before
Sometimes I feel like I actually am an extra in the "Wild one." I just wish that Lee Marvin actually was there too. :(
