I just tried Wendy's Cobb Salad. It cost $8.50 Canadian. Lettuce, bacon, egg, chicken, blue cheese,
tomatoes, and a ranch/avocado dressing. Really good. Ask me anything!

1. Was it as pricey as it seems?
I love a good salad but that seems comparatively expensive next to other fast food salads.

3. It came to just under $30.00 for three of them. I regularly spend $10.00 for dinner
so it didn't break the bank for me. It is a full meal (it was I think substancially bigger than a regular salad). I would imagine in would be less expensive in the USA.

2. How many grams of fat were in that salad?
Doesn't sound healthy, even if it did have salad in the name.

4. The chicken did have a skin on it so I'm sure it isn't diet worthy. But still healthier than a burger

7. Here's the facts. Yikes!
The salad has 670 calories, 47 grams of fat, 15 of that saturated, 300 mg cholesterol!!!, 1920 mg sodium
http://www.wendys.com/food/Nutrition.jsp?product_id=390

1/4 pound single is 470 calories, with 21 grams fat. Even if you added small fries, your calorie count would be higher but your fat content would be 10 grams lower, and only 75 mg of cholesterol and 1160 mg. cholesterol.

Healthier suggestions from their site:
Watching Fat and Calories?
You can still enjoy lots of different meals at Wendy's® that fit your healthy lifestyle.

Try these suggested meals. Each is under 550 calories:
* Ultimate Chicken Grill (hold the sauce) with a Side Salad and fat-free dressing
* Grilled Chicken Go Wrap (hold the sauce) with a small Chili
* Large Chili with a Side Salad and fat-free dressing
* Plain Baked Potato and a small Chili

But, then again, I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat fast food, so I probably should just stop posting.

9. Leave off the dressing packets and it drops to 460 calories with
26g fat and 12g saturated fats. I'd guess much of the calorie/grease is from the bacon

8. Not necessarily - don't let the word "salad" fool you.
Sure, it has green stuff - but some fast food and restaurant salads actually have more fat and calories than a burger, fries, and soda meal.
