Question for Adobe Reader experts (text boxes)

I'm working on a translation job where we're required to paste text boxes over PDFs. It's a pain, but I pretty much got the hang of it.

OK, but here's the problem. Some of the original print on the PDF is really small and crowded, and the client says it's all right to make the English fonts as small as they need to be to fit into the space available.

The trouble is that I can't reduce the font size past 6 point, which is the smallest offered in the menu. I try selecting the text and writing in "4," but nothing happens. Yet I can't find anything like "Format Font" in the Adobe Reader menus.

Adobe Reader is supposed to be cross-platform, but in case it's relevant, I'm using MacOS10.5.8.

Any suggestions for creating teeny-tiny fonts?

2. Actually, I figured it out by accident

You set whatever font size in the tool bar, and then click on it. Presto! (You don't have to click if the font size is already in the menu.)

3. "Accident," that's quite right with Adobe. ;)

I have the Pro, so I had to look for it, but it seems it's really a mystery. :rofl:
