Art BELL scared the crap out of me last night!1
Edited on Sat Aug-28-10 12:04 PM by UTUSN
The NOORY dude is such a loser, wingnut pal with whassisname the creep who wrote the Swiftbot propaganda book for them --on Edit, Jerome CORSI.

I leave the droning on all night for dozing after the trips to the W.C. And Art was subbing for the NOORY and the theme was damned psychotic visions his callers had. And I thought I was awake in call after call, but I must have been asleep. And the calls really were terrific in the terrifying way. The callers sounded like they really needed treatment and described monster manifestations with sharpened fingernails that inflicted literal wounds in them.

Anyway, at some point I started to turn over and shut the danged thing off and I COULDN'T MOVE MY ARMS!1 Like I was being held down in paralysis. Finally, it was more like WAKING UP when I was able to move my arms, not like "breaking free." I guess I was actually asleep.

1. Never fall asleep listening to Art Bell
Learned that many, many years ago.

On the upside, the Grays were quite friendly as they performed my exam.

2. for real
It's called sleep paralysis and I really don't know too much about it but I've experienced it before, once or twice. It is horrifying!

I think it's when your brain wakes up but your body doesn't. You can't move your limbs and that is terrifying. I've never forgotten what it was like.

Cher

and p.s. I agree about Noory and his buddy Jerome Corsi. After Corsi shamed himself with the ridiculous books he wrote about Kerry, he lost all credibility. It says everything about Coast to Coast's right wing bias that he is still on.

3. You probably had sleep paralysis. I've had sleep paralysis.
It can be scary. I was sleeping face down on the couch one night. I thought my cat was sleeping on the back of my neck and that she was suffocating me. She was nowhere near me. It was a dream.

When I was a bit more awake, I called my dog and yelled for help. I'm not sure why. She started barking and then I woke up for good.

This can be very confusing and frightening, even if you do not have weird TV on in the background.

Sleep paralysis is a strange phenomenon. I can't remember having it since that time. I hope you don't have it again, or if you do, you know what is happening!

11. He's creeped me out on some late night drives.
He's a much better storyteller than Noori, and he'll call his guests or callers if they sound completely idiotic. Not saying I believe anything he says, just that he's way cooler in the way he says it. Listen to him coming down out of the dark mountains of west Texas some night, and you'll find yourself creeped out by every shadow. :)
