I know that people's eyes glaze over when you talk about dreams, but I have a doozy for you
I dreamt that a friend of mine bought a used college textbook and inside she found a disturbing letter.

It was written anonymously by someone who was distraught that they had contracted HIV and was planning to buy a gun to shoot the person that they knew had gave it to them.

I told my friend that we should immediately take this letter to the police. We did, but they didn't seem to interested in it, because they were too busy with a project to put everyone under surveillance for everything (I think that that court decision out West has something to do with that).

Needless to say, we left it with them not really thinking that they'd do something with it. And as we walked out the door, we saw this doctor getting investigated and the police deciding that they needed to investigate all of his patients as well. It was disturbing to see something like that, to say the least.

Yes, the Secret Police is upon us (At least in my dream).

Later on, dreamt that I was Boston of all places, and walked into this restaurant that didn't have any food on their own, but however, they would DEEP FRY any kind of food that you brought to them for a price. Sandwiches, bananas, pizza, whatever. You bring it in and they'll fry it.

There was a line out the the door and a lot of people inside gobbling their freshly fried food items up like it was going out of style. Which was also disturbing as well.

I think that that these dreams are an allegory to demonstrate my suspicions about how low we can actually go in this country.

7. When I was in college in Halifax my roomate and I got a telephone call in the
middle of the night. I answered. I can't remember what was said but I hung up. My roomate said "who would call at this time of night". Because I was still in a dream state I felt I had to answer this question. I thought hard for a few moments. Then I said "A basketball team from Boston". LOL! Makes you wonder what I was dreaming about.
