In World War II, couldn't we have just disabled the battleship Musashi instead of sinking it?

1. How the fuck would you pull that off? It was accompanied by the Yamato
Any American that tried to get anywhere near it would be toast.

8. Darter grounded on Bombay Shoal while follwing that damaged cruiser.
On October 31, 1944 USS Nautilus (SS-168) arrived to scuttle the abandoned Darter with her six inch guns. My father was a member of that gun crew.

13. Skate hit her a pretty good lick on Christmas 1943.
The sub left an 82 foot hole in her hull. That was not enough, however, to sink one of the the two mightiest battleships of all time.

14. I just watched the greatest movie of all time, yet again.
Midway, of course! I can say a lot of the lines at the same time the actors do, kinda like the Rocky Horror Picture Show thing. I like it even better on DVD because you can skip through all the lameass scenes with Tom Garth whining about his Japanese girlfriend.
