Scandal with the "True Blood In Memory" clip from last night *spoilers*
Where was the pair that Sam killed the prior week or the Prostitute that Russell killed. For shame! Plus I think they overlooked a bunch of vamps and humans killed at the party in Dallas where Luke blew up everything.

BTW that had to be the most classic 3 minutes in television history. There have been alot of dead folks in True Blood and that's not counting the already dead vampires.

1. It took me a second to figure out --
it was a tongue-in-cheek poke at the Emmys that were on at the same ttime, but once I got it I couldn't stop laughing! :D It really was a little bit of perfection. I especially loved the "Vikings" entry.

3. Yup, a poke at the classic --
"In Memorium" segment of the (all) award show -- including the emotional orchestral accompaniment and the slow-mo shots. Hysterical!

4. They couldn't even give the Vikings names even though they were Eric's Family
They couldn't do "The Northman Family of Sweden" instead they were downgraded to "Vikings"

6. At least they mentioned Cooter.
"They killed my Cooter!" is one of the best lines yet.

8. Cooter could have been lovable.
I thought he could have hung around a little longer. But I still love that line!

9. That was great
"They killed my Cooter" will be replayed as a sound byte by Howard Stern type disc jockeys for many many years.

11. Heck, a co-worker just said --
she heard a friend say that in a conversation last week that had nothing to do with TB! :D I find I want to say it randomly myself -- it really is a classic.

10. I liked this episode --
The TWOP board is complaining it was too slow, not action packed enough but I actually appreciated all the interaction that was going on between the various characters. We saw a lot of intimate moments between members of various relationships that was very enlightening and often deep.

Pan and Eric -- what a wonderful look at those two as Maker and Progeny. Their bond is very deep and loving underneath all that snark and fangs. I loved seeing them together and it really showed the Maker/Progeny bond is an entirely differant animal than any human relationship -- I am not sure if it has a human equivilant.

Hoyt and Jessica -- probably one of the healthiest relationships on the whole show! Adult, honest, communicative, compassionate, loving -- they are adorable together and you really want them to succeed. To find out Maxine involved Summer in an attempt to break them up was a very interesting reveal. Poor Summer, she tantilizaed Hoyt with her virginity AND her best underwear! And, may I say that their love scene was rather hot??

Sookie and Bill -- that scene in the car between the two was equal parts desperate on Bill's part and sad on Sookie's. The are clearly headed for splitsville and they both know it deep down. I still don't know whether Bill cares for her at all or if it really is all about the mission QSA sent him on.

Sam and Tara -- I do like how she refused to be scared off by Bad Sam, though I can't tell if her request for a FWB session was about connecting with Sam or about dealing with her unhappiness via another empty hook-up. Poor Sam, all the ugly truth he keeps inside himself just came urping out. I wonder if Tara will bolt in the morning like she did after their first night together or if she will stick around and help Sam when he realizes just what fucked up things he did? He's gonna have a boatload of hurt feelings to address -- I think I feel sorry for the damage he did to Terry most of all. It was like kicking a dog -- ugly and pretty unforgiveable.

Other things I loved: Arlene and Holly together -- I am liking Holly a lot, she seems no-nonsense and together, just what that place needs. Tara finally finding out what really happened to Eggs and Andy's sadness about it -- I think (hope) that should help resolve some of Tara's feelings about it. Two vamps walking out in the daylight for the first time in thousands of years -- it was especially a pleasure to see Eric's reaction to it -- I guess a little sunlight will impress even the most jaded of vamps. It was also great to see Eric's faced with finally biting Sookie -- there was so much going on in that moment for him and it all just played across his face. Yvette being a cardiologist -- it was a nice nod to all the immigrants who where professionals in their own lands but work at "menial" jobs once here in the States. Lafayette's dolls going off on him -- how fun was that! Looks like Jesus is going to be bad news after all, which is very sad indeed. How come I can see Lafyette's Mom recognizing this new shift n Jesus and protecting LaLa from the evil that is coming?

Two more weeks until the season finale!

And what a season it has been! :toast: :applause:
