Fish. It's what's for dinner. Straight from Massachusetts Bay
With steamed vegetables, home grown tomatoes, corn on the cob, and a bottle of white zinfandel...

1. Striped Bass?
I've only caught them in fresh water, but I've heard that they also live in saltwater.

2. A striper. Yup.
Catching them is tricky.

There is a 15 minute window as the tide shifts, either in or out.

This was caught at the mouth of the Neponset river, out by "the gas tank".

4. I caught one of them in Maine, before
It was 24" long and I had to throw it back. At the time there was a 36" limit on them. It was the biggest fish I'd ever caught at that point.

5. I think that one was over 48"
Though I really think we should the little ones, and toss the big ones back.

15. Those are good looking fish, no question. What could be better?
Trout.
I prefer trout.
The other important factor is how the fish is cooked. We have caught the tuna in the Pacific and grilled them on the boat, and they are good.
I like them fried, also. Like H Salt Esq., most of which are closed.
You know, some people think fish are pets. I think they are food. If they are cooked properly.
