How are you?

I am sorry I vanished for some time. But work is still interfering with my posting on DU ;)

Today after work I will be going to a wedding. Friends of me are getting married. I studied together with the groom.
And I have a whooping cough since a week that won't go away. Please don't let me draw unwanted attention to myself during the ceremony *pray*

Next weekend I will be going to a birthday. My grandmother is turning 85 on October 10th. There will be a big family gathering. We are planning on doing a "Who wants to be a millionaire?" for my grandma. It is already fun to think of questions. Of course we have some family questions but also questions about history, literature, nature ....

My other grandmother would have turned 90 on the same day but she died in February this year.

All is okay here, except that my laptop is on its "last legs," so CMW will soon drag me over to the "dark side" of Mac ownership. He has convinced me that buying a MacBook Pro will not only meet all of my computer needs, but make me younger, thinner and smarter. :rofl:

The wall was part of a monastery in Poland we visited a few years ago. I have to admit I forgot the name of the monastery. So I guess I won't get the million Deutschmark :cry:

I just went to the pharmacy and bought half its stack to fight the cough. During the day it isn't as bad but at night it is no fun.

The weather is cool here too. That was the reason I got the bolero :)

I'm doing pretty good this morning. I'm in Deer Lodge, Montana and I'm getting ready to start my day. The sun is just now coming up here.

My birthday is coming up in a few days, as well. On October 4th I'll be 38. I'm getting to be an old man. The last time I was at the barber he told me that I was at least a third gray. I hadn't even noticed before then, but it is true.
