Just won $200 on a PA Lottery scratch off!
It was on Million Dollar Cash Fever #018! I broke the $100 barrier - I have won #100 12 times, but nothing over that. Just feeling happy! :bounce:

3. No offense, but just HOW MUCH did you spend trying to win that $200?
I mean over time. In the long run, you can't win.

5. I'm way ahead on the $20 tickets, which that was

Overall I'm not doing too badly - probably not much worse than even. I agree that the odds are in the state's favor, but you have to spend wisely and be a smart player. You definitely have losing streaks - it's part of the Lottery. When losing a lot, it's nice to take breaks.

7. Congrats! I won too
'Course, it was only $19.50--three numbers on the Friday night Take Five, but considering I never win ANYthing besides a free ticket (two numbers out of five), this was major.

12. Hi, tigereye!
Thanks for asking! I actually haven't been very good financially - I've been trying to hit that big grand prize on one of the games. I can't count on the Lottery, so hope something develops soon. Hope you are doing well! :hi:

And thanks again, all!

13. hope things work out for you, mvd. It's kind of a weird time fiscally for a lot
of folks. Nice when you get a money boost, though. Cool!

We are not too bad here, kid is in high school and seems to be adjusting so far. The weather has finally cooled off, which is good, so it finally feels like fall. We got a new fridge since the old one was disintegrating, and the usual crazy house stuff.

17. I always save a portion of my big wins
Edited on Sat Oct-02-10 11:47 PM by mvd
I know how quickly it can go down the drain if I spend it all on the lottery. I took a chance again from the same roll - you know, sometimes they can sneak two big winners close together - and got the next ticket, #019. While it wasn't a big winner, it did win - $20, so it paid for itself.

Glad you and the family are doing well. I absolutely love fall! :hi:

I won $150 once but that was a long time ago. I actually bought a scratch off ticket today. I haven't scratched it yet so hopefully I'll get lucky too. The way my luck is going lately, it will be a dud.
