Today I am making a consience decision to be a lousy boyfriend.. just for a day

My mentor and good friend invited me over to his place. I've never been, but the guy has style and makes REALLY good money. I imagine his place is really nice and I am curious.

So, I cancelled dinner with the GF.

However, it's not all bad, our good friend just got back. He got the phonecall we all fear over here, his Mom died. So, now that he's back we gotta take care of him. So I'm not being a TOTAL prick and realistically should be there for him more than anything.

She'll understand. If she doesn't I'll know fairly quickly.
