Aside from 911, cause that's a fairly obvious one everyone remembers. But, how about other ones from the years? I think the only one I really remember is desert storm starting.

1. i was at home

school was over for the day
i was watching the uncle walt show
it had astro boy and clutch cargo on it
and uncle walt came on crying and reported that the president had just been declared dead in dallas

2. kiddo has been watching all these emergency broadcast videos- why I am not

sure... he seems to be obsessed with disaster films at the moment.

Also, I recall lots of coverage when Budd Dwyer killed himself at a press conference.
