1. kick
It's not so much that I'm an opera fan, but that there are some performances that send shivers down my spine...

6. Bizet. The Pearl Fishers duet
Beautiful men with beautiful voices get me every time!

Au fond du temple saint (At the back of the holy temple) from the Pearl Fishers by Bizet.

Tenor/baritone - Roberto Alagna and Bryn Terfel.

Both fishermen have a crush on a priestess, and talk about how lovely she is.

Another version, English subtitles, with the fabulous Alfredo Kraus & McDaniel:

Alfredo Kraus does a wonderful version of "Estrellita" (little star) which you can find on Youtube.

============
Don Giovanni duet, Don Giovanni trying to seduce Zerlina, La ci darem la mano.
"Honey let's go off in the bushes and do the wild thing".

Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Karita Mattila - I love the acting in this one:

Don Giovanni - Serenade - Deh vieni alla finestra - Samuel Ramey

The Magic Flute -- In these Hallowed Halls - Kurt Moll

==========
Edie Adams - Musetta's Waltz from La Boheme (Ernie Kovacs' wife):

============
Franco Corelli, E lucevan le stelle, from Tosca. He was working the Thighmaster as well:

==========
The great Franco Corelli, singing "Core 'Ngrato" (Ungrateful heart). Not an aria but a folk song. The emotion he puts in this song is stunning. Especially the pain in "Catari! Catari!"

8. A friend and I were walking past Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris one day. We saw people
going indoors so we followed them. It was a free concert. We walked in just a someone was singing 'ave maria' on a high balcony. Wonderful thing that is.
