Anyone else remember these Christmas music albums?
I'm recording to CD 5 of the albums in this series.

My Mom had all of them, but gave them away.

I like the music on them.

1. Sure do!
May even have one in my collection of albums I can't play because the turntable won't turn anymore.

2. My Mom still has her collection of them
At one point we joked that if she started playing Christmas albums after Labor Day and played them eight hours a day, they would last until Valentine's Day.

I was going to transfer them to CD for her, but their house was struck by lightning and it fried their player. Since Mom never figured out how to use it and Dad is now totally deaf, there just seems to be no point to it.

4. I have one. Volume 4.
From about 1965 or so, with Vic Damone, Julie Andrews, and The Young Americans (a pre-Up With People group, only more serious and talented). I listened to it constantly as a kid, and there are some goregeous songs on it -- Dorothy Kirsten (opera) singing "I Wonder As I Wander" and The Young Americans with "Coventry Carol." Both give me chills when I hear them. When I moved out of the house, I made sure I took that album.
