Name that Molina
It's Bengie this time, putting the Rangers on top and silencing the band box.

1. And another cheap Yankee Stadium home run
Rangers, 6-3.

I keep hearing they're going to build a suitable major league ballpark for the Yankees, but I don't think I'll live to see it.

20. As far as I am concerned all baseball parks should have the same dimensions.
The Yankees cheated by making theirs smaller, to help their hitters. Sometimes, of course, that bites them on the ass, as it has done tonight. I am so happy.

3. One pitch, Guerrero doubles
I believe he said, "Thanks, Joe" as he cruised into second.

4. Chamberlain promptly issues a free pass to the next batter
Puts the double play in order with two outs . . .

5. A bloop to right field, and it's 7-3
If you listen closely, you can actually hear the wheels coming off the Yankee bandwagon.

6. The inning mercifully comes to an end
Now for the endless rendition of the latest homage to the HCRV.

7. Hip, hip, Jorge!
It's as if Girardi is practically pleading with the crowd not to leave.

8. Weak strikeout
And Jeter the cheater fails to get a hit to end the inning. Six outs left between the Yankees and a three games to one deficit. If not for one explosive inning in Game 1, they'd be looking at a sweep.

11. Now it's the announcers doing the pleading
That "you never feel like you have a big enough lead against the Yankees." Sorry, but they've had their one improbable rally this playoff season. The New York "fans" can feel free to leave.

17. A couple of Bronx bombs
And the Bronx Bombers are on the ropes. Shoulda scored when you had the chance in the 8th, Yankees. Lot of alleged fans wearing their "empty seat" disguises.

Line out to end the game. Nevermind.

3-1, Texas. Elimination game looms.
