Poll question: Classic TV Junkies: Favorite show in the TV Land evening lineup?
Edited on Tue Mar-30-04 01:22 PM by elperromagico
8 PM EST/7 PM CST - 11 PM EST/10 PM CST

There are only five choices because Andy Griffith airs twice.

Edit: Added a "none of the above" option.

3. I hate all those shows!
Man, what a selection.
They should give you shows like
"The Wild Wild West" and "The Outcasts."

6. Of these choices, gotta go with the Beav.
But I wish TV Land would give us better choices.

8. Green Acres is one of my all time favorites.
I don't have cable now so I never watch any of the TV land shows. I used to watch the show every day when it was in reruns on local broadcast TV. It is one of the funniest shows ever. Mr. Haney, Ebb the hired hand, the phone on the pole outside, Oliver's pratfalls, it's all hilarious. Even though I've seen it a thousand times it still makes me laugh.

9. it was a toss up for me
between "Andy Griffith" and "Bewitched" I finally chose Bewitched.

I should qualify though--I only like the B/W episodes of Andy--why? because the show seems to work best in B/W, it had Don Knotts, and Andy's character is gentler and has more humor. In the color episodes Andy Taylor becomes too much of a grouch.

I should qualify "Bewitched" as well. I love only the first five seasons with the irreplaceable Dick York as Darrin Stephens.

12. I agree completely. Both shows should have gone off the air
after their fifth seasons (the point in both shows when Dick York and Don Knotts left).

10. I love Leave it to Beaver
Beaver was cute when he was little, I love Mrs. Cleaver's style, and they all come up with some pretty funny lines from time to time - especially that creep Eddie Haskell.

11. The last season they filmed when Beav was a teenager -
was really quite funny. Wally was about to graduate high school.

They updated the theme song, too, and made it "swingy".
