Wish me (and the city of Toronto) luck tomorrow!
Our city election is tomorrow.

I've been volunteering my ass off for a local progressive candidate for city council, Kristyn Wong-Tam. (http://www.kristynwongtam.ca/) She's a fervent progressive, a community builder, and a lovely person. The most recent polls have her in a very narrow lead, but between the top 3 candidates, it's pretty much anyone's game at this point.

Tomorrow, I'll be volunteering all day, with a short break to go write my biology midterm. Then, I will be heading to Kristyn's (hopefully) victory party!

I know that good vibes and well-wishes don't win elections, but votes do. If you have any friends in Ontario (municipal elections are happening across the province tomorrow), please tell them to get out there! I voted well in advance - now all I have to do is to give my candidate one final push, and get our supporters out there.

:hi:

2. Good luck. And what about that tea bagger running for mayor. Please tell me he isn't still in the
lead.

3. He might be, but it's really, really close.
I hope he doesn't get in. :( But the mayor only has one vote, so no matter who wins, hopefully a progressive city council will lead us the right direction.
