OK - As benevolent as I am, I will share my French Toast Recipe:
1 egg per person
vanilla, cinnamon, bacon (or high-fat turkey bacon, or some other high fat bacon substitute)
1 loaf of Sourdough bread

Fry the bacon up until its bendy yet firm

Take the bacon out and serve

Dip the pieces of sourdough bread into the egg/milk/cinnamon/vanilla mixture.

Fry on the bacon grease

Serve with real maple syrup

Enjoy!

3. How'd you get my recipe?! LOL Actually, a lot of the time I use margarine for
the french toast because we've been eating turkey bacon more often.

12. I'm trying to get away from margarine. I just bought my first container of
coconut oil and am going to try cooking with that instead.

6. All right. I'm sold. Tell me what time the french toast will be ready,
and I'll be over at your place at that time.
Thanks.

8. Only two changes - Balinese long pepper for the cinnamon
and orange flower water for the vanilla.

9. While I USUALLY don't like liquor-flavored foods...
.
.
.
.
.
... I once saw a French Toast recipe that included Cointreau in
the dipping mixture and, while I've never tried it... that DID
sound yummy.
.
.
.
MAYBE orange juice concentrate could be substituted -- and
for me, might be better.

11. "(margarita season just ended, you know)"...

Tucson just felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of
voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

Margaritas NEED neither reason nor season for being. They just are.

.
Hallelujah!!!

13. I could see that working
IN fact - I was pondering a shot of Cointreau in there...

Wasn't there some Sopranao's ep where the guy Tony was just about to whack told him he put white wine in the eggs of his French Toast?
