...there had been a BlogAd on the front page depicting, well, something gross, for quite some time, at which people had been recently expressing their disgust and exasperation. I'd just realized that, about as often as not, there was a different BlogAd with a picture of Jean Harlowe instead of the one with the Gruesome Footage. I remarked to myself something along the lines of "Pretty Girl is better than Pretty Gross," and then posted similar.
