3. Funny, I was thinking the same thing.

I had been listening to "Breakaway" on the radio for weeks without knowing who sang it. (You'd think I would have heard the DJ announce the singer, but whatever...I missed it...)

Then I found out. I am staunchly anti-American Idol and all the plastic, disposable pop singers they produce, with their plastic disposable music. But I didn't stop liking the song. I've got it on my iPod.

It is well-written, well-performed, has a catchy hook, and is very well arranged. Very atypical of American Idol music.

So I still like the song.

The true answer to your question in my case would be "Little Miss Dangerous". I thought that song was cool as hell until I found out Ted Nugent sang it.

And no, I do not have that one on my iPod. I'm not enriching the Nuge by so much as $0.99...
