My cat is nuts.
He just pried open a dresser drawer and pulled out a pair of fuzzy socks and 2 pairs of underpants. And dragged them all down the stairs and delivered them to me, meowing insistently all the while.

???

1. your feet must be cold and he probably thinks it time
to change your underpants, at least he gave you the option to choose the pair.

16. We've had male kitties do that.
A couple regularly lined up socks in a little row, like they're their babies, all the while making a strange calling sound.

3. I've had to block off my undie drawer to stop the great panty hunt...
My matronly calico Olga (one of seven) pries open my underwear drawer and proudly, with much howling (she sounds like Edward G. Robinson) drags various socks, bikini pants, etc. out onto the floor. She drags them several feet and lines them up in a row, in front of my husband's dresser. Until I pushed a chair in front of the drawer, she did this every day.

5. So I put the socks and underwear back in the drawer.
This morning I found the same two pairs of fuzzy socks downstairs on the kitchen floor. I put them back in the drawer and went out to run an errand. The socks were next to the back door when I came home. I put them back.

Just now, one of the pairs of socks was delivered to me as I sit here in the living room.

The cat has wandered off somewhere. He may have gone upstairs to get more socks.

:eyes:

6. Lol
You know that cats take after their owners...:P When my cats were younger if I left my underwear drawer opened even a little one of them would get in and fling my bras (and only my bras) on the ground for some reason.

7. My girl cat loves my bras, but only after I have worn them. She huffs the band and rolls
around on them like they were made of catnip.

And if I try to take them away, she is rather ferocious about keeping them for herself.

9. Toss them across the room, see if he'll bring them back....
Had to get a bathroom trash with a tight lid to keep mine from pulling out the tissues. But he still finds something to walk around carrying and moaning about.

11. He sees this as an act of gift giving.
You should reciprocate by crippling some small mammal and dragging it to him.

18. A long time ago I didn't realize it was an act of love when my cats brought prey to me.
They expected me to be appreciative and proud of them for being such mighty hunters. Instead their gifts were usually met with hostility from me. Later on in life I finally realized what was going on. All those pets have since gone on to kitty heaven, but I will regret my ignorant treatment of them until the day I die.

17. Today I moved the socks to a different dresser drawer and stuffed them way in back
and then I left the house for awhile.

When I came back the socks were in the middle of the kitchen floor.

I give up. Kitteh wins.
