I'd hate to put myself out there and perform a service, have the client not like the service, and then have problems with the client not paying. But thanks for the suggestion.
11. Here it used to be more what families did this time of year

Kids would go out in woods and gather tips for moms and grandmas to make rope out of. I hear the going rate here now is $2.50 a rope, but it is more commercial than it used to be. That rate assumes that someone else has gathered tips for the ropemaker. Someone who is fast with it can make 8 or 9 75foot ropes an hour. It is good money while it lasts.
The tip gatherers/preparers usually get $8-9 an hour.
LoL.. as a kid.. us gatherers got supper and a roof over our head ;)
I'm guessing those $5(cost) ropes sell for $20-$30 somewhere. I have no clue.
Hmm.. I wonder if someone there buys the $5 ropes and makes 10 $40 wreaths out of a rope. It's possible :)
