One thing about the internet, you learn about your particular brand of crazy and how widely it's shared. For example, I am wierdly, and for no good reason, superstitious about 11:11, or any permutation of it (imagine how happy I'll be on November 11th at 11:11 am and pm this year). To tomorrow is loaded. Interestingly LOTS of people share this wierdness. You can find it all over the tubes.

Btw I have one other of those that is shared by many a denizen of the intertubes. I have many, many recordings of the song "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen. It just does something, and when it's beautiful, dayum.

So that this shouldn't just be entirely about me, anyone got any interesting superstitions or obsessions to start off the New Year?

2. I love to see 11:11 and 1:11
It makes me smile. So do any permutations of 3s and 11s and 7s and 11s. Looks like this year will be full of cool number combos.

As for superstitions, I never switch the calendar till after midnight. Come to think of it, I never turn over to the next month till the last day of each month is over with. I have no idea why. I don't believe in bad luck, so it's not that. Just a habit, I guess.

3. At least you remember to switch the calendar.
I'll go for months with it stuck on something like April and don't flip it over until August! :P
