For some idea of the performances we *could* have been seeing from this actor: Consider that Clint Eastwood is a year OLDER -and still going strong. Rip Torn was born one day earlier, and Angela Lansbury, Lauren Bacall, Cloris Leachman, and Betty White are even older ...all of them still working.

2. Didn't they age him in Giant?
I've seen clips, though I can't remember seeing the whole film. maybe I saw it as a kid, before I could appreciate it. Anyway, Dean was aged with silver in his hair and a moe.
