So I found $10 on the ground today
Should I feel bad that I used it to by my Large Skinny Cappucino and a Cranberry Muffin?

I mean it's $10, who is going to be able to claim that

2. FYI - in a PA casino, "finder keeper" rules are not applicable - it is theft.
Weird little law, I know. While it is true damn near everywhere that if you find it you can keep it, in a PA casino you are required to turn in ANY amount of found money, chips, etc. If you fail to do so, you have committed theft and can be charged as such.

3. Fortunately I was not at a Pennsylvania casino at the time of my discovery
but in downtown Wilmington

5. Did you at least take an honest look around first to see if someone
was standing there looking for their $10?

If so then congrats on your free breakfast!

7. Did it have numbers 1 and 0 on it?
Then it's probably mine. Unless the zero is on the left.

But you can keep. I got tired of lugging it around.

8. See if it has Alexander Hamilton's picture on it. If it does, it might be mine. But,
of course, the real test is the serial number. Post the serial number and I'll tell you if it's the one I lost

9. I found a $20 by the bus stop.
I took the bus instead of driving.

I used the money for a good cause, it all works out.

10. I worked third shift in Pennsylvania - got off at 7 AM and walked about a mile...
.
.
.
...to the bus stop. I passed a bar on my way -- a busy college/townie bar
that opened up about that time of the day.
.
.
.
I would keep my eyes GLUED to the curb/gutter and often found bills that
had almost certainly been pulled out of pockets along with car keys the
night before.
.
.
.
Sometimes found a one or a five once or twice a week -- one morning found
$27 in four separate locations.
.
.
.
.
.
.
I used to stop in for a beer or two several times a year. When I'd tell
the women coming in to work the day shift about it, they'd have no clue
why someone would stop for a beer that early in the day (unless there
was a real problem with alcoholism involved).
.
They hadn't a clue that 7 AM to me was what 5 PM (and Happy Hour)
was to them.
.

11. .
Funny

I found $500 on a run about 13 years ago. I have seen weed on the street probably 5 times.

12. How bizarre! The wind blew off all the $10 bills from my money tree.
It happened right after I planted the bird seed. There aren't enough birds lately so I decided to grow some of my own.
