Saw this film today..Loved it..
Why?
A satire of highest order..lot's of fun, great lines, wonderful western gags..
Westerns..and the new guy coming to town..
He becomes the sheriff, by accident..and then..

Lots of great surprises and ideas...Reminds me of Blazing Saddles..

definitely an adult movie...and even for movie buffs especially...

1. thanks.
I had seen a image for it on a film trailers website, and didn't bother to watch the trailer.

I just watch the trailer now, and it does look fun. I'll probably see it. :hi:

It did get good reviews, but so ..lots of them do.
But the level of satire.. certainly makes it one of the best western paradies of all time..at least in my opinion. There are neat surprises everywhere in this film. Some scenes are a little dark for some small children, like 5 or 6, but this film is not for children...It is really for film buffs who love this media and enjoy the old western stories..of which this is one of them
..Even the backgrounds are terrific.
The old westerns were filmed in Monument Valley Arizonia..so there it is in the background. Now that little bit of info won't give anything away, except that the makers of this one went to a lot of effort to get it "just right."

4. I saw it a second time yesterday...great escape..
I discovered something new about this film. The producers mixed in some terrific music with the scenes. All kinds of music. I am sure that most will enjoy this as a break from the depressing news out there. Occasionally films like this come around, so please enjoy this in the movie theaters while you can. It will hold your attention for most of the time, a little slow at first, picks up quickly. It is a fresh, kinda wierd, funny film. My friend and I got in at the senior rate, five bucks each, and it was worth it.
