looking for a funny/goofy gift....
to bring to somebody home from having some minor surgery and has to stay at home resting for a couple of weeks.

it's okay if it's a totally useless thing... just to brighten her spirits. something goofy, silly, useless, wtf?, whipped cream... you get what I mean?

I don't want to bring flowers or food because other people and her kids are doing that kind of thing. (she is in her 50s if that info is helpful)

thanks for any ideas.

2. I was just in the hospital this January and the most fun thing for me
Edited on Sat Apr-02-11 08:12 PM by Tuesday Afternoon
was a crossword puzzle book, magazines, light hearted paperbacks, a pair of slippers, some chocolates ....

these were not silly/goofy but, they sure did help pass the time.

 just some ideas.

On the other hand, I bought a mega- Swiss Army knife yesterday. Everything from a knife, scissors, screwdrivers, on down to a magnifying glass. Now that's a present.
