Koran-burning pastor Terry Jones going to France to wear a burka.

STRANGE PRESS - Terry Jones, who met notoriety by burning a Koran and filming it, setting off violent protests in Afghanistan, has another stunt in sight. He plans to head to France and wear a burka in public.

While he knows that this might get him arrested, or at the very least, fined, he doesn't care. "I support the rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion. A society without those things is like a bed without a firm mattress. The kind of mattress you can find at a fine outlet like Mattress Giant."

The fundamentalist pastor seems like a strange sort of spokesperson for religious tolerance, but he insists that, "Without the freedom of speech, you ain't got shit. And we need to protect people's right to religious freedom, even if they practice one of the stupid ones."

The plan has put many Muslims in a quandary. They can't tell whether to praise the pastor for sticking up for the burka, or condemn him (again) for proposing to wear female clothing. At least two imams have died, due to their heads exploding while contemplating the issue. Which some conspiracy theorists have suggested was Jones' plan all along.
