14. Actuallyone. Which means the insurance will cover most of the procedure
Without it, they would cover almost nothing. Great health care system.

I'm a vegetarian. Can't eat jello. Vegetable broth and apple juice, and a gallon of the most disgusting stuff known to humankind.

21. Yea, my Dad had broth as well.
He said the nasty liquid wasn't so bad. He's kind of a tough guy. :) :hi:

16. The colonoscopy is nothing
They put you in twilight sleep and you wake up a half hour later in recovery with no memory of it. The horrendous part is the prep the day before. Some preps are worse that others. If they have you doing the one where you drink a gallon of foul tasting stuff, ask for an alternative. They exist. You can google some stuff online. Apparently the best one involves a half gallon of Gatorade and some pills.

20. Colonoscopy's nothing. The stuff you drink tastes like you should be setting your hair with it.

17. Did you watch the screen while it was happening?
I did! I thought it was so cool being able to see a procedure being done to me while awake. Kind of like when I watched my big toes being fixed for ingrown nails :) Too bad I couldn't have watched my three kidney stone removals or the appendectomy for my ruptured appendix. I had to be knocked out for those ;)

22. Never having had any similar drugs before I was beyond...
feeling no pain, I was ecstatic, I guess. The news was good but my "high" was intense. I told the staff that they should change the name of the "Colonoscopy Center to" "The Happiest Place On Earth"!
