So, I guess my doctor is not full of shit! For a couple of years he has been trying to get me to try

a diet to control my glucose and cholesterol. It consists of meal replacement shakes, cleansing drinks and an energy enhancer. I started the program after reviewing my labs with him this past February. My glucose was in the pre-diabetic range and my cholesterol were nearing the danger range even though I take Lipitor.

I met with him today to review my labs from last week. Both glucose and cholesterol are now in the normal range, my BP is down and I've lost 17 pounds. I'm below 160 for the first time in years. :woohoo:

Wowzer! I haven't been "under the deuce" for many moons (but then I am 6'1", so it's not like I'm huge or anything). 160 on me would be skin and bones!
