Heads up: Glory on Turner Classic Movies now, Gettysburg at 10:15 for those who can stay up late.

I have always looked for "Gettysburg" to be on TCM, since it was a Turner production. As horrid as "Gods and Generals" was, "Gettysburg" was that good. And the music was sublime.

As Sam Elliott as Gen. John Buford said in the movie the evening before the first day of battle, "The Rebs will hit us at first light. (He points to the horizon at dusk.) Keep a clear eye."

Recommended, for those without an early morning and the need to keep a clear eye.
