Enjoying an Irish Cream that I'm going to be nursing all night long. Actually I have three drinks - the irish Cream, my diet Cherry Pepsi, and a big mug of hot tea (what's left of it). And I have apple slices, a couple of leftover stuffed grape leaves, but all the cinnamon rolls my husband just baked are gone.

The hats, the bandleader, the art, the architecture, the colorful crowds, the historical references, the jovial mood.

We are doing an Irish breakfast with rashers, brown bread, Barry's Tea but are adding an American touch with mimosas.

The announcer just said breathlessly: "We are desperate to see the hat!" Referring to Kate's hat, of course, and the pressure from "on high" that she wear a tiara rather than flowers in her hair. I love the maple trees on Arbor Day.
