? Jeff Probst has a lot of something, to be able to keep from holding his nose this season. Maybe he is earning his money.

1. Just watched it....
Yeah, Rob is getting really desperate and it isn't very much fun watching him like this. I really, really can't see anyone voting for him for the $1 Million JUST BECAUSE he's already been on Survivor 2 (or 3) other times. I wouldn't vote for him, he has an advantage that no one else did. He obviously is a great player because he knows how to get everyone out there to do everything he wants, but he is getting really pathetic.

I think the person who comes back from Redemption Island will be the eventual winner, because the whole Jury will side with them.

4. I use the mute during both Rob's and Philip's diatribes. But this group has to be the stupidest ever
Apparently the producers went out of their way to pick people that would just follow a leader. None of Rob's group ever thought about having an alliance to kick Rob off. They just go alone until he decides to kick them off. Then they act surprised. And none even gives a damn about the hidden idol that Rob has. It is boring.

I say the show has "jumped the shark".

5. Well....I think I would do the same if I was there with a former "All Star"....
I would get behind them and act like their best friend until close to the end and then cut their throat (figuratively)....but they're long past their good opportunity to get rid of him. They should have done it 4 shows ago.

The show is still interesting, and the Redemption Island thing was a good idea....but yeah, bringing back Rob and Russell was a bad idea because it removed some of the rawness from the game play part of the show. It would be like having A-Rod go play for a season with a minor league team. Nobody else on the team is even going to be noticed, and he's going to control every aspect of everything because he's the superstar.

Still hopeful for next season....and some good ideas and all new cast members, hopefully some hotties :)

2. It's hard to watch. Rob's camera asides make me & my husband laugh -- his dramatic
facial expressions & bragging are annoying. He's playing Russell's game, which was also annoying, by mesmerizing the young naive girls, then ordering everyone in his tribe not to socialize with the merged tribe. He said last night that no one has as much heart in the game as he does. I disagree. Matt deserves the win, hands down. I'm hoping he can pull through to win, but it won't be easy going up against Dave & Grant.

3. Good call - "he's playing Russell's game"
And he'll get the same treatment from the Jury that Russell has gotten. It's rarely the mastermind who pisses off everyone that wins Survivor, especially this year when one of the finalists *could* be a Redemption Island person.

6. The jury is mostly those he socially abused. I just hope the person who goes back into the game
from Redemption Island does so at a point where he/she isn't outnumbered & voted out right away. That would be cruel on the producers' part; being in that situation as long as Matt's been has been the most grueling position of anyone in the game. Redemtion Island won't be a satisfying feature of the game if there's not an edge given to the last one remaining; the point of entry should be at a time when there is no more voting out, maybe a competition deciding who remains as the finalists who face the jury.
