What is the U2 song "ONE" about? Is it about AIDS?
This was my wedding song, and I thought it was just about forgiveness and regret, but I am very curious what this song is really about. Is it about AIDS? I have been told in very stern words that this is obviously a song about AIDS. I don't know. All that I know is that I love this song, and I think it is about more than just AIDS, but like I said, I don't know.

1. I don't know for sure...
But I've never heard that it was about AIDS. I know that a cover version of it was used in some kind of AIDS awareness campaign, so maybe that is why someone is making that assertion. But I don't necessarily think it is just about that.

Then again, my wedding song was Perfect Day by Lou Reed and I'm pretty sure that is about heroin. But it is a pretty song with words that meant/mean something to my wife and I so......there you have it.
