What is your favourite type of salad? I liked the tomato and mango salad I used
to be able to get at a shop across the street from us. They used yellow (I think they are Pakistani) mangos. And they cut up the tomatoes so there were no seeds in it. vinagrette dressing. It was yummy.

1. Gorgonzola cheese salad.
There was a place called The Studio in Miami. FL, that served it. Outstanding.

4. Every day for lunch I have a bag of lettuce, some croutons, some gorgonzola and a scant tablespoon
of olive oil mixed with a scant tablespoon of red wine vinegar. Every day.

9. I don't know gorgonzola. How do you buy it at the store. Does it crumble?

10. It's a blue. I buy it crumbled in a container. It's stronger and not as sweet as blue, and I like
it better than blue. Some people make spinach salads with any or all of these: gorgonzola, candied pecans or walnuts, dried cranberries, and chicken. Om nom nom.

11. I'm about to embark on a salad binge. I have chicken, bacon bits and found some sliced honeyed
almonds. I'll try the gorgonzola.

13. if you try gorgonzola, you MUST pair it with walnuts
:D

"Spring greens" (darker greens, not iceberg) plus gorgonzola, walnuts, and a red wine vinaigrette = delicious.

5. I like mine with lettuce and tomato...
Heinz 57 and French-fried potatoes, a big kosher pickle and a cold glass of beer...

Oh wait. That's how I like my cheeseburgers, not my salads. Sorry.

6. Pasta-pesto with penne pasta at a local pizza place.
I'll sometimes make an order at the end of my meal just to take it to lunch the next day :9

8. Caesar, hands down. No contest.
And, when I'm not too lazy, I like to make it from scratch.
No bottled dressings.
:-)
