Made my puppy puke today.
Poor little thing (a pug) ate part of an ant trap. After calling the vet and poison control, I was advised to feed her and then give her syrup of ipecac. Boy does that stuff work! Poor baby heaved up everything. I was waiting for her liver or some other organ to come up next. The saddest part is that she has this confused expression on her face, like she has no idea what hit her.

Dang, I thought I had those ant traps hidden safely away, too.

1. Poor little pug!!!
Ya gotta factor in an incredible sense of smell when hiding things like that, I guess.

It kind of breaks one's heart to KNOW you administered the ipecac! But ya had to do it!
