I am Vetwife and the veterans org I started trying to help blind WWII vet

This infuriates me. We have had a total of 28.00 in the Bank for nearly a year. The red red state of Georgia loves to flag wave and say they care about veterans. I am a liberal and help DU and The Guy James Show and founded a veterans organization to help Disabled Veterans. Guess what..these red white and blue flag wavers who are so proud of Old Glory don't want to help a WWII Blind vet and provide any funds for our disabled in the community and especially when approached about setting up a room for an 81 year old Blind WWII veteran. This organization has to remain non partisian but as usual I have to rely on my good liberal friends to help a Veteran.
Those folks who look at a stone monument (which I am glad they built a monument) for the most part could care less for our living veterans who are dying at a rate of 1000 per day. A piece of cloth made in China run up a pole made in India or Mexico does not a patriot make ! I am really angry. Please go to the following link and do what you can !
