(Well, except for when JFK ran, and the first term of Clinton; Ohio doesn't really have a lock on picking the right candidate).

Ohio is likely to (barely) go to the Repuke (I would be surprised, but pleasantly, if it goes Dem) candidate in November.

But lately, especially in 2007, Ohio has had a bit of a problem picking a winner.

Jan 2007 - Ohio State Football comes in second.
Ohio State Basketball? Second
Cavaliers? Second
Indians? close to being second
Browns? Well, it could be called second - runner up for the wild card playoffs, because Indianapolis decided to play a preseason game for their last game of the season.
Jan 2008 - Ohio State Football comes in second.

So, Romney likes the silver medal ... came in second twice.

Ohio's primary is in March. Romney in second? maybe ...

1. Ohio votes for Romney?
I'd be curious to see who my homestate goes for. My guess would be Huck and Obama.
