New Cimperman commercial assails Kucinich

Tenth District Congressional candidate Joe Cimperman will begin airing this new 30-second commercial Tuesday on Channels 3, 5 and 8. Cimperman is trying to unseat six-term Congresman Dennis Kucinich, who began airing ads on Sunday.

Cimperman's ads are a contrast from Kucinich's, whose three spots featured people praising the Congressman. Cimperman's commercial accuse Kucinich of overseeing a loss of jobs and funds for the 10th District. It also touts Cimperman's own record on similar issues.

The two candidates and three other challengers will meet Tuesday at the City Club of Cleveland debate, which will be televised live at 12:15 p.m. on Channels 3 and 5 and broadcast on 90.3.

...My understanding is that Joe Cimperman doesn't even live in Ohio's tenth district and neither do the 15 contributors who have contributed $39,000 to Cimperman's campaign. So what do they want? Access and influence? How many Ohio National Guard members have been lost because half of the country thought Iraq had something to do with 9/11? How many more are losing their health insurance? It is not a good thing for Dick Cheney to lie us into war, and if Cimperman won't do anything about it, Dennis will. Now more than ever, we need Dennis Kucinich in Congress if we are ever to get out of Iraq and bring peace, healthcare, good jobs and good wages to Cleveland and the rest of America.
Inappropriate? Alert us.

3. The Plain Dealer has constantly pushed the b.s. that Kucinich ig-
nores his constituents. Now today they say-

"Kucinich always has been known for pest-like follow-up on behalf of constituents. Got a complaint or puzzlement about social services, taxes, trash collection or anything else in government? Call Dennis."

Now it's "pest-like followup"?

Damn.What.Freaking.Rediculosity.
