I have been away from DU for a couple of years. I logged back in and went to the GD:P board and have been wondering just what the heck happened around here. I saw a recent post espousing this as a somewhat less vitriolic venue. It certainly seems it. What's the immigration policy, here?

For the record: I favor Obama, think Clinton would do just fine, live in the Blue corner of a Red state (Jackson Hole in Wyoming) and am old enough to know better and young enough not to care.

Well the admins changed the policy for posting in GD-P several weeks ago. Now nobody can start more than 3 thread in that forum in a 24 hour period. Prior to the change in that policy it was even crazier.

People are just terribly frustrated and often terribly over reactive.
