NOW Texas Doesn't Count?

Texas Doesn't Count?

After weeks of finding reasons to discount every Obama victory, the Clinton campaign seems to be laying the groundwork to argue that Texas -- the state that they have been pointing to as more meaningful and representative than other states -- doesn't count, either. Why would they be discounting Texas? Oh, I don't know, this might have something to do with it.

Bill Clinton's argument is that Texas is unfair because it has a caucus in addition to a primary, and, as the Clintons have ben arguing, caucuses are less democratic than primaries. It's certainly true, caucuses give disproportionate weight to well-organized party activists over ordinary voters. But you know what gives even more weight to well-organized party activists over ordinary voters than the caucus system? Superdelegates. And the Clintons obviously have no objection to that.

Bill Clinton on the Texas caucuses:"The doors open at 7 and they close at 7:15. It would be tragic if Hillary were to win this election in the daytime and somebody were to come in at night and take it away." :wtf:

6. Even though they are blue states, WA, WI, MN, ME, DE, CT, MD don't count either
I can't remember why, but Mark Penn had a really intelligent explanation.

12. He's the CEO of Blackwater's PR firm.
Also Hillary Clinton's chief strategist, and the architect behind her smear campaign.

And "asshole" is an understatement.

3. Only states where they won or "didn't campaign" count.
But the count from Texas may well bury the no-accounts.

4. Hillary's voters can't make it during the day to caucus, on weekends, and now
Bill's saying they can't make it in the evening--or fucking tell time, either. Jesus, I'd be embarrassed to be a Hillary supporter--the Clintons have painted you as unmotivated, ignorant, slothful, dirt-poor, confused losers.

13. Her campaign performance is becoming a good reason not to vote for her.
Her campaign has been run rather poorly, and may well reflect what we'd get on day one in a Clinton WH. I certainly don't want the people who've been running her campaign running the White House.

8. The Texas caucus is not quantitative
The number of delegate is determined according to the actual vote in each precinct. The caucus decides who is going to be able to be considered as delegates, but who they are delegates for is determined by the vote.

16. How much shit can a supporter be forced to eat
I do not understand why these people still have support. I hope that gets played all over Texas and backfires the way all his idiotic remarks did in SC.
