This campaign has always been about more than just an election.

When Barack and I first talked about doing this, we agreed that there was a unique opportunity for change in this country -- a real chance to move beyond the divisive politics of the past and bring people together around our shared hopes for a better future for all Americans.

Today, America is watching Texas.

All across the country, people are following the results of today's election and waiting to see if Texas is ready for real change.

You have two opportunities to send the message that you're ready for a new kind of leadership and a new kind of politics.

First, vote in the primary -- polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Next, help win even more delegates by caucusing for Barack at 7:00 p.m. And make sure your friends and family both vote and caucus as well.

This is Senator Obama's house, now protected by the U.S. Secret Service, but not when this was taken on April 15, 2007. (Our tour of the Kenwood neighborhood actually began on the sidewalk in front of the house so we could get a better look at the synagouge across the street. )
