Nicely done! I loved how he fired back about conservatives exploiting illegal migrant workers. He also joked that the "debate" wasn't really a debate, and he's jumping at the chance to take some of these guys on.

I think Dean and Kerry should schedule a private debate, sponsored by the WWF.

Kerry is turning into a regular media whore. After laying low during the silly season, Kerry has started to come on strong - just like we said he would!

11. He was very good, firm

He said that he has no intention of authorizing a blank check for George Bush. He and others will demand an accounting of the funds, and what W. plans to do about the UN and sharing the risk and burden of the Iraq reconstruction. He intimated that they will also demand that W address his horrendous economic plan and tax cuts to pay the 87bn.

Either B or P asked him about Rumsfeld saying that those criticizing Bush and the war were only making prosecuting the war more difficult. Kerry said (of course), "Those of us who have worn the uniform understand that how you keep the troops safer is protecting democracy at home. I will always do what it takes to keep our troops as safe as possible."

Buchanan asked about his "blanket amnesty" for immigrants, accusing Kerry of rewarding criminals (! I guess he means they broke our immigration laws, cuz Kerry says they have to have stayed our of trouble in order to qualify) for "breaking our laws, breaking into our country and hiding out for 5 years".

Kerry said, "Pat, it's you and your Republican buddies who are hiring these workers and you WANT them here doing the work that they do." He also said something about the immigrants dying in our dessert trying to get her to get jobs that we WANT them to do.

He is very good on TV in interviews like this.
